Between the villages of Kružlová, Kapišová, and Nižná Písaná, there are tanks in the field showing a tank company in attack. It is symbolized by 8 T-34/85 tanks. Visitors are reminded of the tank battles that took place in this space from October 25 to 27, 1944.
It was in these days that the heaviest tank battles took place in the area of the Death Valley within the entire Carpathian-Duklian operation, and apart from the mentioned symbolic tank company in the attack, almost the entire valley is lined with historical tanks and its vehicles. All the exhibits are displayed near the road, freely accessible, so that visitors have the opportunity to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers at Dukla at any time. The entrance to Death Valley towards Svidník is already marked from a distance by a well-known monument - the so-called Taran, which consists of two tanks wedged together. It is a Soviet medium tank T-34/85, which is symbolically on a higher pedestal with the barrel aimed at the lower enemy German Panzerkampfwagen IV medium tank.
